Hollywood: Money And Family… Tori And Candy Spelling
Candy and Tori Spelling the wife and daughter of legendary television producer Arron Spelling are really shaming his legacy by feuding publicly all to turn a profit. For Aaron Spelling to work so hard building an empire to be left in the trust of his love ones you would think that they would want to honor him and represent him in a much better way than taking their family business public for 15 more minutes of fame; considering the motive can’t be financial because they’re all well off. This cat fight has been going on since the death of Arron Spelling and doesn’t seem to be getting any resolve in the near future due to the release of a new book (“Candy Spelling: Golden Girl, Silver Lining,”) by the widow of Aaron, Candy Spelling. In the book Candy continues to air out daughter Tori Spelling and their tumultuous relationship.
According to sources a copy of the proposal, including a chapter on her troubled relationship with Tori, which deteriorated after Aaron died. Tori, who reportedly received just $800,000 from Spelling’s $500 million estate, claimed Candy never notified her of her father’s passing.
But Candy says she asked Tori to come home when Aaron was near death, but she was filming a movie in Toronto with now-husband Dean McDermott. “This public fight with my daughter came at a time when I needed her the most. So, yeah, I was mad,” Candy wrote. “Of course she’s candid about Tori and Hollywood gossip over the last five years, but this next book is really about coming into her own,” said Spelling’s agents, Steve Troha and Celeste Fine of Folio Literary Management.
We’ve all heard the saying: “for the love of money is the root of all evil,”…..
It really seems to be the case in the Spellings situation; I’m sure there were family issues before Arron’s passing but one would think his death would have given them reflection time to understand time on earth is limited and family is really all you have. Hopefully one they will get it together before its too late.happywheels
