With her song “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)” becoming the #1 song in the country she put herself in the history books with Jackson, she is the only person to do this besides Michael Jackson to have five #1 hits from one album.
Her Teenage Dream album #1 hits are, “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” just climbed to #1 on the Pop Songs Billboard Charts, following “California Gurls,” featuring Snoop Dogg, “Teenage Dream”, “Firework” and “E.T.,” featuring Kanye West.

The popularity of Kanye and Snoop I am sure attributed to the success of those 2 songs, Michael’s songs didn’t have any heavy hitters except him. Also Snoop and Kanye bring a separate demographic to those sales, cross genre. Apples and oranges.
