It will impact ratings causing Time Warner Cable to take a hit on their $4 billion TWC SportsNet deal, the team’s network that launched in October. With Howard and Nash coming to the team a championship run was thought to be a sure thing including tons of advertising profits for the network, but with them stinking it up this year those hopes have been scrapped. So its not just Kobe who wants to kick Howard and Nash in the butt I’m sure the executives over at Time Warner might want to UFC them in addition.

The caliber of talent might not have been the greatest but dropping 68 points in a gym by your self is still pretty impressive lol… China is arguably just as big of an market for Kobe as the U.S., he was recently there playing in the Sprite China 2nd Annual Charity Basketball game and the NBA legend dropped 68 points in like 15 minuets, check it out

Kobe on his scoring fiasco: “The Sprite China 2nd Annual Charity was a ton on fun. We played two 15 min halves with a running clock. I watched from the bench for the first half. We were trailing by 9 when I was notified that fans via text can choose a team to add 20 additional points to their tally!!! We were now down 29!! I wanted to play it cool but what the heck, the place was packed with fans who’d sang an early happy birthday to me and really wanted to watch me go to work. My teammates were down. They are all singers/actors and do not play ball much AT ALL, but they are very successful at what they do hence they are VERY competitive. They asked if I could bring them back in the second half..

I didn’t want to disappoint them or the fans that had paid their hard earned money for a show so I took the challenge of really using the second half as a training session for my stamina. I ran and ran and ran. I wound up scoring 68 in the 2nd and we won. Like I said, they are not basketball players by any stretch of the imagination. I was just having fun with all of them and loved hearing the crowd enjoy the show we put on.

They performed some of their number 1 hits. We took pics and signed autographs. I believe we raised 2.6MM RMB for underprivileged youth here in China! That is the MOST important number of the night. Sprite, one of my sponsors, hosted the game. They carry a great message of self-expression: Don’t be afraid to be who you are — by doing, so that you will find your own path and your own greatness as you define it.”

Lamar was a minority investor in the company … and swore by the non-scientifically proven magical powers the hologram-embedded bracelet is said to possess.

As for Shaq — a former Power Balance spokesperson — court docs show the big man is demanding $308,170.

The two join a long list of athletes who claim PB needs to open up its checkbook … including Kobe ($400,000), Blake Griffin ($20,000) and skateboarder Ryan Sheckler ($25,000).

TMZ broke the story … PB was ordered to shell out $57 million in a class action lawsuit after a bunch of former PB wearers called BS on the company’s claim that the bracelet could enhance balance, flexibility and strength.

Vanessa is walking away with $75 million, which we’re told represents close to half of their total assets, estimated at around $150 million.

Vanessa gets the estate the couple was living in, the estate her mom is living in, and she gets the new estate that had been under construction for 2 years and was just completed. We were told Kobe was moving into the new estate, but that’s not true. It’s Vanessa’s crib, lock stock and barrel.

Kobe Bryant was accused of calling ref Bennie Adams a Fu*king F*gg*t in the heat of the battle against the Suprs, after Adams hit Kobe with a technical foul; The NBA has handed the Lakers star an $100,000 for using the slur. There hasn’t been word that anyone actually heard him, but when looking at the video league officials have determining thats what Kobe said. I really think that this is the media and the NBA are making something out of nothing. I hope the he appeal the $100,000 fine because thats ridiculous.
