Sources told the NY Post Friday that Rihanna has been trying to nip this thing in the bud for eight months, and has spent about $1 million in legal fees in the process. To which Topshop finally countered with a mere $5,000 offer.

She says it’s the principle, and wants to make a statement about it. They are taking advantage of artists. It is just exploitation. What they are doing is wrong.

While at the Elton John anual Oscar party singer actor Chris Brown discussed his altercation with Rihanna being his deepest regret in life. “What can I say? I’m forgiven. But, yes, I worked hard for it,” Brown told U.K.’s Mirror, adding that some “serious making up” was involved. “Sometimes you row, you fight, with the one you love and things get said, stuff spirals. That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake. But she loves me.” The two have since reconciled and seem to be happy and back together.

Rihanna is becoming quite the coveted cover girl for magazines looking to push sales, she covers the new issue of the Rolling Stone and in the featured story she discuss her decision to date Chris Brown once again.

“I decided it was more important for me to be happy,” she tells contributing editor Josh Eells in the new issue of Rolling Stone, out Friday, January 31st. “I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that. Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake. “He doesn’t have the luxury of fucking up again,” she says. “That’s just not an option. I can’t say that nothing else will ever go wrong. But I’m pretty solid in the knowing that he’s disgusted by that. And I wouldn’t have gone this far if I ever thought that was a possibility.”
