Gone Girl and Annabelle, battled right down to the wire over the weekend to take the top grossing film position of the week, by less than a million Gone Girl took the #1 spot. The film starring Ben Affleck grossed $38 million while the horror Annabelle grossed $37 million. Coming in third was The Equalizer starring Denzel Washington, grossing $19 million in its second week in theaters bringing it’s total gross to $64 million.
